PEACH : ALLY AGAINST BREAST CANCER


The antioxidant compounds found in peaches, may block the growth of breast cancer cells and its ability to spread , according to a study by scientists at Washington State University and the University of Texas.

In reaching this conclusion, the specialists experimented with mice , which was implanted under the skin cancer cells and given to eat peach extract . Within weeks , the researchers observed an inhibition of the reporter gene , indicating the suspension of metastasis.

The cinentíficos claim that phenolic compounds present in the peach extract are responsible for the inhibition of breast cancer . They also claimed that these compounds could be added to the therapies used to reduce the risk of metastasis, one of the main problems with this type of cancer and tumors.

Likewise , indicated that consuming two or three peaches by day would have a similar effect to that was performed during the experiment with mice. The results obtained by the peach become fully beneficial to health.
In this regard , Dr. Miguel Lopez Prado, gynecologist and obstetrician of ONCOGYN Preventive Gynecology Center , says that the antioxidants in peach provide these properties against breast cancer. That is why the specialist recommends to include in our daily diet of five or six fruits like peaches , plums , grapes, granada , among others
